A parachutist was tangled up in high tension wires during the jump this Monday morning (11) in Ponta Porã, 323 km from Campo Grande, on the border with Paraguay.
The man, whose name was not disclosed, said he is a resident of Ponta Porã and was participating in an event at the city’s airport. A team from the Samu (Mobile Emergency Service) went to the scene, but it was not necessary to take him to the hospital.
He was tied to the equipment for some time, until the power was turned off by the utility, to enable the rescue.
Talking to people who approached, he said that the main equipment had a problem and had to deploy the reserve parachute, which compromised landing accuracy. The accident occurred at Jardim Aeroporto.
