Social network Likee says it has started to enforce the "landing" law

Singapore-based social network Likee, which allows you to create and share short videos, has begun complying with the requirements of the “landing” law and is ending procedures related to opening an office in Russia, the company said in a statement.

“As a responsible company operating in Russia, Likee is subject to the requirements of Roskomnadzor and is currently implementing the procedures provided for by applicable law. An electronic form has appeared in the application and on the website for sending requests from citizens and organizations. In addition, we have indeed installed one of the counters recommended by Roskomnadzor resource attendance, MyTracker”, – quotes the press service of the Interfax company.

In addition, it is reported that at the end of December, Likee filed an application for registering a personal account on the Roskomnadzor website and is currently awaiting confirmation.

Likee was the first foreign service to comply with this law.

Roskomnadzor was unable to provide a comment. In a special section of the agency’s website, there is currently no information that any of the IT giants has begun to comply with the requirements of the “landing” law.
