Moscow Spartak beat Dynamo Minsk 2-1 in overtime in the away match of the KHL regular championship.
At the Moscow club, the goals were scored by Alexander Khokhlachev (11th minute) and Yori Lehterya (64). As part of the Minsk team, Pavel Varfolomeev sold the bullet 50 seconds before the end of the third period.
“Spartak” interrupted their three-match streak of defeats, as well as the seven-match winning streak of the Belarusian club.
Metallurg beat Ak Bars and extended the winning streak in the KHL to 14 matches
Spartak is seventh in the Western Conference standings with 18 points in 18 matches. Dynamo are on the fourth line with 24 points in 17 meetings.
In the next match, Spartak will host CSKA on October 18, and Dynamo will also play at home with Admiral the day before.
