The burglars gained access to the Schmidt country bakery via the roof of a Netto branch, as the police confirmed when asked by TAG24.

To do this, they removed several bricks and then climbed into the intermediate roof, from where the thieves entered the shop. The intruders then searched the store’s warehouse and salesrooms.

According to reports from the crime scene, they came across a safe that they ripped out of the wall and took away. In order to escape, the perpetrators are said to have destroyed a false ceiling to the canopy of the market entrance. They were then able to escape undetected.
