Analyst leaves TV broadcast during match after learning that her mother died in a traffic accident

Drama for Nadia Nadim. The Danish was invited to the studio by ITV as an analyst. There she was told during the game that her mother had died from the consequences of a traffic accident.

The 34-year-old Nadim currently plays for the American Louisville, but also has a past in the English Premier League with Manchester City. And so she was invited by the British TV channel ITV as an analyst for the match between Denmark and Tunisia. During the match, Nadim, present in Qatar, received a phone call informing her that her mother had died as a result of a traffic accident. She immediately left the studio, after the match the moderator only said that Nadim should have left the studio. She shared the horrible news via Instagram the next day.

Nadim is a doctor by training, her parents fled Afghanistan at the time and settled in Denmark. There Nadim discovered her football talent, she is still the Danish record international.
