Bayern beat Eintracht Frankfurt 6-1 in the away match of the first round of the German championship.
Joshua Kimmich (5th minute), Benjamin Pavard (10th), Sadio Mane (29th), Jamal Musiala (35th, 83rd) and Serge Gnabry (43rd) scored the winners. The hosts scored Randal Kolo Muani (64).
Eintracht conceded five goals per half in the opening match of the Bundesliga for the second season in a row. The club won the Europa League last season. On August 10, Eintracht will play in the match for the UEFA Super Cup with Real Madrid.
In the next round, Bayern will host Wolfsburg on August 12, Eintracht will play away with Hertha on the same day.
