Beerschot: extended stay for Vanhamel and Biebauw, goodbye to Coulibaly?

The Beerschot players will start preparation on Monday. Wouter Biebauw is also expected at the apple for the physical and medical tests from Thursday to Saturday. Remarkable, because the 38-year-old goalkeeper is at the end of his contract and has no new proposal in his pocket yet. Beerschot, however, seems inclined to keep the experienced pawn longer.

The chance that Mike Vanhamel will stay at the Kiel next year is increasing by the day. That is also striking. Last season Vanhamel was put on non-active for extra sporting reasons. A transfer seemed the logical consequence, but the goalkeeper still has a contract for two more seasons. A new season, a clean slate?

Ismaila Coulibaly is not expected in Antwerp for the tests at the end of this week. Will the stylish Malian say goodbye to Beerschot after two loans? Issa Soumaré and Blessing Eleke (both still under contract) have to report.
