It is not a time travel. Of course not. There is no capsule. Nor, the famous Doc Emmet Brown’s De Lorean piloted by Marty Mc Fly in Back to the Future. However, those who arrive at the Lanús court can live an experience of yesteryear. Football with fans in both stands. And if that were not enough, it is a classic. Racing-Boca play and the stands are loaded, as in that time when you could go to any field. On neutral ground, the Academy occupies the local header and the xeneizes, the one usually destined for visitors. And with the exception of an inmate who was deactivated in the blue and gold bar, only a folkloric party is experienced in the stands.

The Twelve occupied the central sector with its usual flags. The buses escorted by the Buenos Aires Police entered through Esquiú and Purita, accessing from Hipólito Yrigoyen (former Pavón). Half an hour was missing and a dozen buses belonging to the Lomas faction, driven by Maxi Mazzaro, Walter Coronel and Fido Debaux, dropped 400 bars. “They came to spoil it with the official”, they told Clarion authorities of the operation that included 1,300 agents, 1,000 from Buenos Aires and 300 from private security.

The police stopped the horde, but they mixed with the common people. From the sky, everyone was filmed with a drone. And when the first half was ending, they left. There, a remnant entered that was waiting for the drain. Infantry did not have to intervene.

In short, there were 30 detainees, including some rags, drunks and infractions, according to police sources.

There were also connectivity problems, which complicated not only the media that had to work, but also the controls that had to validate the QR of the tickets that the fans had purchased through the online system.

Just yesterday, there were 1,500 tickets for Racing fans that were sold through the electronic ticketing system.

The accesses were not collapsed because people began to arrive very early. The Imperial Guard moved through the other sector, drums in tow. They entered through Guidi and Cabrero streets, via Lanús Este. At all times, any crossing with Boca fans was avoided.

There was only time for the round trip from grandstand to grandstand, the typical folklore that was lived until, 10 years ago, the attendance of visiting public to the fields of our country was prohibited. The exception is this type of encounter on neutral ground. As is the case with the Copa Argentina, something that was repeated at the Néstor Díaz Pérez stadium. It will be the same way this afternoon in Huracán, where Argentinos and Tigre will face each other and next weekend in Córdoba, venue of the final in which Boca will be.

The two biases were noisy. There were moments of tension, especially the first half, when Racing attacked and couldn’t beat Agustín Rossi.

33,000 seats were sold in a stadium with a capacity for 47,000 spectators. On the face of it, it is possible that there was just a little more attendance than was officially announced.

The Racing fans came out first. Those from Boca had to wait at least 45 minutes to leave the stadium. No one complained, of course. They were happy for the agonizing classification in penalties.

The League congratulated the public’s behavior through social networks. Not bad. In short, football with the two fans should be common. It is a game, after all. One wins, the other loses. Life goes on.
