Charles Aránguiz has been anticipating from last year that he may leave Bayer Leverkusen. A few months ago, the Chilean midfielder said that he would evaluate his continuity at the German club, although everything seemed to have been settled when the Leverkusen leadership confirmed that they wanted him until 2023.

Everything can change in the future of the Chilean. Aránguiz’s contract ends in June 2023, but there is a clause that allowed his early departure from Germany. Although the time to make it effective has passed, the Prince spoke with the leadership to leave next month, according to what they say from Brazil.

According to the Brazilian newspaper Correio Do Povo, Aránguiz wants to join Inter de Porto Alegre in the next transfer window. The Prince went through the Brazilian club in 2014 after leaving Universidad de Chile and played 36 games with the Colorado shirt, scoring six goals.

Inter is in the ninth position of the Brasileirao, just four points behind the pointer, Corinthians. Colorado is currently playing in the Copa Sudamericana, where it has strong chances of advancing to the round of 16.

Charles Aránguiz is more than settled in Germany, although Colorado’s wishes may bring him back to South America. The Chilean midfielder has been at Bayer Leverkusen for seven years, a shirt with which he has played 197 games and scored 15 goals.
