Jesper Møller, the president of the Danish Football Association, openly stated on Wednesday that he will not support Gianni Infantino in his candidacy for a third term as FIFA president next year. Infantino is the only candidate.

“We are in an extraordinary situation, Møller lamented. Not only am I disappointed, I am also angry. We will seek legal clarification as a result of the pressure that was brought to bear regarding the OneLove bracelet.”

Asked by a colleague about the actions that could follow and the possibility of leaving FIFA, the president of the Danish Federation replied: “Yes, we could consider this option. But we will have to discuss that with the other federations first. In any case, we will not leave FIFA alone.”
