Figure skater Semenenko has recovered from a head injury and will perform in Averbukh’s show
On April 16, the figure skater hit his head hard after falling in the Evgeni Plushenko show and spent more than a week in the hospital. He resumed training in early May, the show of Ilya Averbukh will be held on May 7 in St. Petersburg

Figure skater Evgeny Semenenko, who received a concussion on April 16 after falling in the Evgeni Plushenko show, will perform in St. Petersburg in the Ilya Averbukh show. The figure skater told “RIA News”.
“Yes, I will perform,” Semenenko said.
The athlete will show a short program of the next season for the composition “Adagio Albinoni”.
Averbukh’s show “Favorite songs about the main thing”, timed to coincide with Victory Day, will be held on May 7 in St. Petersburg.
On April 16, during a show in St. Petersburg, Semenenko landed badly after a quadruple jump and hit his head on the ice. The athlete was hospitalized, later he was diagnosed with a concussion.
The figure skater was discharged from the hospital on April 25, a few days after that he resumed training.
Semenenko is 18 years old, last season he became fourth at the Russian Championship, fifth at the European Championship and took eighth place at the Beijing Olympics, showing the best result among Russian singles.
