Romelu Lukaku (hamstring) trained individually indoors, just like Thomas Meunier. The latter has been recovering from a fractured cheekbone in recent weeks, but it is not yet clear whether his absence was related to this or whether it is alarming.

There was more positive news from Leandro Trossard who went full steam ahead after a minor injury. Koen Casteels (sick) and Thorgan Hazard (slight hindrance) also trained with the group again. Jan Vertonghen’s calf injury seems to be a thing of the past. The Anderlecht defender played against Egypt for a while and did not relapse. He went all out again and looks ready to possibly start against Canada on Wednesday.

Another striking fact: yoga coach Vinay Menon was also present. The Indian mainly watched. After fifteen minutes all media had to leave the training complex. There were also a number of foreign journalists and camera crews, but because the Belgians live quite far from Doha, foreign interest was still limited.
