Earlier it became known that Khimki is at risk of playing a home match with Spartak in the 30th round without spectators or at a neutral stadium, informs publication “Championship” with reference to sources.

The reason may be the behavior of Vladimir Gabulov after the match with Ufa. He entered the judges’ room, where he spoke with the referee in a raised voice. This action is noted in the protocol of the delegate of the match.

Former goalkeeper of the Russian national team Vladimir Gabulov left the post of general director of Khimki at his own request, according to the club’s official website.

Gabulov has been in office since the end of December 2021, when the Moscow Region club was in last place in the Russian Premier League with 14 points. Khimki reported that in the coming days they would announce the appointment of a new general director.
