T-shirt, jeans, sneakers – Felix Papsdorf cannot be distinguished from the rest of the gamers and e-athletes present, at least as far as the outfit is concerned. The 28-year-old from Backnang has erected a gaming temple on 2000 square meters in the industrial area of Waiblingen. He runs a boot camp with seven fellow campaigners: Gamers and e-sportspeople from all over the world meet there to train, compete or work with others to hone their own skills – with an overnight stay. Sleep and gamble in one place. The camp has existed since 2020, and the first lockdown came five days after it opened. How is the camp today?
