A revolution of details

Stylistically, this Impreza remains in continuity with the previous generation. The recent presentation of the Crosstrek, its SUV counterpart, was already a harbinger of this style conservation. It is on the technical aspect that it evolves the most. Subaru promises a chassis whose rigidity has been improved by 10%, and increased performance with the adoption of more powerful blocks. The 2.0 liters of 152 horsepower and the 2.5 liters of 182 horsepower are not hybrids, which can pose a serious problem for us given the ecological penalties…

The multimedia system is evolving and safety equipment is progressing. This new version ultimately looks more like a restyling than a real novelty, perhaps not to rush fans of the current generation. It seems difficult to envisage for the time being the arrival of this Impreza with us. A deal that could change if the manufacturer decides to offer it in Europe in hybrid versions…
