The hockey player hit the referee with a stick during the match of the amateur league “Labor Reserves” at the Chkalov Arena in Moscow.
The incident occurred in the second period of the meeting between the Leopards and NS Revol Ice teams. The referee sent off the Leopards player, but instead of going to the penalty box, he drove up to the referee and hit him on the head with a club. And when the referee fell on the ice, the player also kicked him.
Hockey players of the National Assembly Revol Ice dragged the player away from the referee, who was then helped for a long time.
The teams finished the second period, but in the end it was decided to end the match ahead of schedule. “Leopards” received a technical defeat.
