Chapecoense’s draw against Brusque, last Thursday (5), at Estádio Augusto Bauer, for the sixth round of the Brazilian Championship, could take Verdão do Oeste from the G4 of the second division and remove the advantage conquered at the beginning of the dispute for the access to Serie A. However, the result was valued by coach Gilson Kleina.

It’s a tough game. We knew it. I understand that we are taking an important point. A team that wants to have a great Serie B needs to have a good defense and we work on that. We managed to neutralize their attack”, emphasized the coach.

Kleina now has a free week for training with the squad, since Chape will only return to the field next Friday (13), against Sport, at Arena Condá, in Chapecó. Now in fifth place, with nine points, Verdão do Oeste seeks the three points to regain the access position in the table.

The coach, however, will be absent in the match, as he received the third yellow card in the draw with Brusque. “I play together. I didn’t agree with a foul that was made in Lima. They scored for Brusque and not for us. At times, she was omitted. I understand that the coach is part of the team. Of course, I didn’t speak affectionately, but I complained about a fair lack”, commented Kleina.
