Incredible dispossession of the Argentine Yamil Peralta: an embarrassing ruling gave him for lost his fight in Canada

While all eyes of boxing lovers were on Las Vegas, where the Russian Dmitry Bivol surprised the world by beating the Mexican Saúl Canelo Álvarez, the Argentine Yamil Peralta suffered in the night an outrageous refereeing dispossession in Canada that condemned him to a loss on points with a divided decision in a fight that had clearly won the local Ryan Rozicki for the international cruiserweight title World Boxing Council (CMB) that was vacant.

Rozicki (15-1-0, 14 KOs) listened to the cards dazed and with a swollen face after constant punishment from the Olympian Peralta throughout the ten rounds at the Center 200 of the Sydney community, located in the maritime province of Nova Scotia, facing the Atlantic Ocean.

the surprise was capital letter when two of the juries of the fight, all of Canadian nationality, delivered their embarrassing cards: 97-93 (Wayne Gray) and 95-94 (Robert MacAvoy).

Only Craig Smith (95-94) saw Peralta the winner, but also Rozicki himself, who after the sentence raised his arm to the Argentine in clear recognition of the superiority marked in the ring.

“Yamil Peralta won the fight. He should have been the legitimate winner”ratified the Canadian in his statements to the official broadcast.

With greatness, the 30-year-old from Buenos Aires declared: “I remain calm because I had a great fight, I am very grateful for this opportunity and the love of this Canadian city. I think we won and we should have taken the belt. I really appreciate Ryan for acknowledging to everyone that I won. He was a great rival, thank you all.”

Peralta, Olympic representative in London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016, Argentine, South American and Latin cruiserweight champion, undeservedly resigned his undefeated professional in his first fight outside of Argentina.

Del Viso’s boxing record now shows 13 wins (6 on the fast track) and a fall in 14 rented presentations.
