protests in Iran began in September after the death of a student, Mahsa Amini, who was detained by the vice police for wearing the wrong hijab.

In the police station, the girl, according to the authorities, had a stroke, she later fell into a coma and died. Relatives of the deceased said that the girl had no health problems and demanded an investigation into the circumstances of the death.

The Iranian authorities considered the protests an attempt to “weaken the Islamic regime.” Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei accused the United States and Israel of organizing the demonstrations, and General Hossein Salami, Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, said Saudi Arabia was also involved in such actions.

Due to the situation with the protests, the Iranian team was called to be suspended from the World Cup, including the former head of FIFA Joseph Blatter and the Ukrainian Football Association.

In the match England – Iran is the second half, the score is 4:1 in favor of the British.
