Ironman Worlds: St. George tougher than Hawaii!

For the first time, the event will not take place on the island, but in the desert.

After two cancellations due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the Ironman Worlds is finally back. For the first time since its inception in 1978, the event will not take place in Hawaii, but in St. George (Utah), USA. So the organizers have decided for this edition… 2021, this Saturday May 7, while that of… 2022 is already scheduled for October 7 and 8!

This relocation, for health security reasons, has been widely commented on, sometimes sparking controversy, some imagining the ordeal elsewhere than in Hawaii. Never mind, the interest in THE appointment of specialists is matched only by their desire to compete again over the mythical distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling, 42 km on foot) with the world title at stake.
