So far, Grau has not given any news about additions to the player squad. What the albo team did communicate a few days ago was the departure of the Argentine Gustavo Álvarez from the technical direction, after the ‘Patrimonio de Piura’ was close to obtaining a ticket for the next edition of the Copa Sudamericana.

The new coach of Atlético Grau, in addition to Alianza Lima, directed Sporting Cristal and the Peruvian U-20 team in two periods. In his experience in Peruvian lands, Ahmed also served as head of planning and sports development at the Victorian club and head of the Minors’ Technical Unit of the Peruvian Football Federation (FPF).
