Puck and Kaprizov’s assist helped Minnesota defeat St. Louis in the NHL playoffs
Minnesota beat St. Louis to take the lead in the Stanley Cup first-round series. Kaprizov and Jordan Greenaway set club record by scoring the fastest two goals since the start of the playoffs

The Minnesota Wild defeated the St. Louis Blues 5-1 in Game 3 of the NHL’s first round playoff series.
Among the winners, goals were scored by Jordan Greenaway (1st minute), Kirill Kaprizov (3), Mats Zuccarello (28), Joel Eriksson Ek (41) and Jonas Brodin (53). The losers scored Ryan O’Reilly (43).
Kaprizov and Greenway established a new Minnesota record – they scored two goals from the start of the game in 2 minutes and 18 seconds. The previous achievement lasted six years – 5 minutes and 16 seconds.
Kaprizov’s hat-trick brought Minnesota victory over St. Louis
The Russian striker also scored an assist in this match. In total, Kaprizov has 5 (4+1) points in the current playoffs.
The score in the series to four wins became 2-1 in favor of Minnesota. The next match will take place on May 8, starting at 23:30 Moscow time.
In other games of the day, the Edmonton Oilers defeated the Los Angeles Kings 8-2 away (the score in the series became 2-1), and the Boston Bruins defeated the Carolina Hurricanes 4-2 at home (1 -2).
