Russian tennis player Daria Kasatkina reached the semifinals of the WTA tournament in San Jose with a prize pool of $758,000.

In the quarterfinals, the 25-year-old Russian won the representative of Belarus Arina Sobolenko, the sixth racket of the world, with a score of 4:6, 7:5, 6:0.

The next opponent of the Russian woman, seeded at the tournament under the seventh number, will be the winner of the pair Cory Gauff (USA, 11th in the ranking) – Paula Badosa (Spain, 4).

Kasatkina is the 12th racket of the world and the first racket of Russia, she has four WTA titles.
