Keno Salinas accompanied the Chilean team on their friendly tour and took the opportunity to document their time in Asian countries. The journalist was surprised by the prices in Japan and compared them with those of our country.
La Roja said goodbye to its friendly tour of Asia and so does Eugenio Salinas. The journalist followed the Chilean team to South Korea and then to Japan to report on what was also the beginning of Eduardo Berizzo’s process as national coach.
The tour was not as satisfactory in terms of results, since the Red did not take any victory. The national team lost 0-2 to the South Korean team, then did the same against Tunisia and sealed it all with a goalless draw and then loss on penalties against Ghana.
But Salinas, who traveled to Asia with the microphones of Radio Bío-Bío and TNT Sports, did not have a bad time. The journalist has used his networks to show what it was like to cover the team, in addition to documenting his impressions of the Asian countries.
And this Tuesday he shared an image that gives to comment. Salinas enjoyed a hearty breakfast in Japan after the Kirin Cup and was surprised by how little he had to pay. The journalist compared prices in Japan with those in Chile.
“Even Japan is cheaper than our Chile. Breakfast at the hotel with sausages, fish, rice, soup, salad, legumes, coffee and unlimited drinks: 3,250 pesos,” he shared on his Twitter account.
“I have been insisting for a while on why we have become an expensive country. Not even the really rich countries,” reflected the journalist.
