Grêmio is attentive in the football market, looking for reinforcements for the 2023 season, a challenging year for Imortal, who returns to the elite of Brazilian football. However, between speculations, polls and behind-the-scenes negotiations, Tricolor also needs to resolve situations of athletes on its squad.

In this context, right-back Léo Gomes is included, who is at the end of his contract. However, Grêmio has not yet sought out Léo, who, according to the Globo Esporte portal, wants to stay at Imortal.

The winger hopes to be called for a negotiation, although he can already sign a pre-contract with any interested club. However, Léo Gomes received polls, but will only analyze them after talking to Grêmio, his priority.

The side was activated again in 2022 after three years away. All because of an injury to the posterior cruciate ligament of his right knee, which required surgery in 2019, as well as a problem with his patella, which required a new surgery. In 2021, Léo played for Grêmio’s Sub-21, for the Brasileirão de Aspirantes. His return to the main team only happened in the final stretch of Série B.
