Lindsay De Vylder and Robbe Ghys are the leaders after the third day of the 81st Six Days of Ghent. The Belgian couple totaled 172 points. In the same round, with 153 points, the Belgian-Dutch couple Fabio Van Den Bossche and Yoeri Havik are positioned.

Two couples follow on one lap. Jules Hesters is in 3rd place with his German teammate Tim Torn Teutenberg. This with 114 points behind their name. Iljo Keisse and Jasper De Buyst do that with 83 points. The rest of the field follows four or more rounds and seems to be exhausted for the overall victory.
The first points race of the evening went to Jan Willem van Schip. The Dutchman kept his compatriot Philip Heijnen and Jules Hesters behind. In the second points race, the victory was reserved for the Swiss Silvan Dillier. Fred Wright claimed second place ahead of Tuur Dens. The team elimination went to Lindsay De Vylder with Robbe Ghys who made it after a sprint with Fabio Van Den Bossche and Yoeri Havik. The British Hayter/Wright were third.
They proved once again on Thursday that Lindsay De Vylder and Robbe Ghys dominate the track round. After all, they improved their own record, at 166.66 meters, after clocking in a time of 8.332. The flooded Kuipke treated the two to a sweltering applause.
De Vylder/Ghys were allowed to start the first madison of the evening as leaders. Fabio Van Den Bossche/Yoeri Havik and Jules Hesters/Tim Torn Teutenberg followed in the same round. That madison turned into a fierce battle in which the Keisse/De Buyst, De Vylder/Ghys and Van Den Bossche/Havik couples eventually took a lap on the rest. Keisse and De Buyst came out on top, but Lindsay De Vylder with Robbe Ghys remain leaders.
