Manchester United lost big to Brighton and lost the chance to get into the Champions League
Manchester United lost 0-4. The club can no longer catch up with Arsenal, which occupies fourth place in the Premier League standings.

Manchester United lost 4-0 to Brighton in the away match of the 36th round of the Premier League.
Goals were scored by Moises Caicedo (15th minute), Marc Cucurella (49), Pascal Gross (57) and Leandro Trossard (60).
Manchester United are sixth in the Premier League (EPL) with 58 points from 37 matches. Due to the defeat at Brighton, Manchester United lost their chances to break into the Champions League next season. The club can no longer catch up with fourth place Arsenal, who have 63 points in 34 games.

Brighton are ninth in the league table with 47 points.
Manchester United leader Cristiano Ronaldo last did not play in the main round of the Champions League in the 2002/03 season. That season at Sporting was his debut at a professional level, he then played one meeting in the selection for the Champions League.
Manchester United have already conceded 56 goals this season in the Premier League, which is a record for the club. The club also suffered the fifth away defeat in a row. In addition, Manchester United has never scored so few points in the Premier League, the worst result was in the 2013/14 season (64).
Manchester United have only one game left to play this season in the Premier League – May 22 away against Crystal Palace in the 38th round (MJ played their match of the 37th round at the end of April). Brighton will face Leeds in the next round on 15 May.
