Midfielder Kaliningrad “Baltika” Montenegrin Mladen Kashchelan received Russian citizenship. The relevant decree was published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

Kashchelan is 39 years old and has been playing in Russia since 2013. Before Baltika, the football player played for the Tula Arsenal, Tosno and Tambov. The midfielder played 25 matches for the Montenegrin national team.

Senator from the Kaliningrad region Alexander Shenderyuk-Zhidkov congratulated Kashchelan on obtaining citizenship. “Congratulations to our dear Mladen! One good Russian has become more, ”- wrote he is in his telegram channel.

This season, Kashchelan has 15 matches in all tournaments for Baltika, which plays in the First League.

After 18 rounds, Baltika is in first place in the standings with 35 points.
