Anderlecht announced the transfer of Ishaq Abdulrazak on Monday afternoon. The 20-year-old Nigerian comes from the Swedish first division team IFK Norrköping.

Abdulrazak was a basic player at Norrköping last season, where he has been working since 2020. The Swedish club then removed him from the Nigerian Unity Academy. Abdulrazak stands out with his dynamic style of play, something that is very interesting within the football that Felice Mazzu wants to bring. He can also play on the flank. According to Swedish media, he would cost 4 million euros, but the transfer fee that Anderlecht paid is not (yet) known.
“This is a big step for me and I’m very proud of it,” Abdulrazak said on the club’s website. “I want to prove my worth to the team as soon as possible and I look forward to meeting my teammates and the fans.”
“We have been following Ishaq for a long time and we are very happy that we can now add him to the group,” said CEO Peter Verbeke. “Ishaq has many physical qualities on the one hand, he is fast, agile, has volume and plays with a lot of assertiveness. On the other hand, he also has a lot of technical ability, which makes him versatile in use.”
Anderlecht hopes to complete the arrival of Nilson Angulo in the coming days. The Ecuadorian striker has been in our country for a few days and will probably sign his name very soon.
