The football market in Europe is still strong and with speculation that stirs not only the Old Continent, but also teams in other corners of the world. Among them, Brazilian clubs remain attentive to possible transfers from European teams, especially involving athletes trained here.

Among the hottest rumors is that of a silver from the house of Vasco: the steering wheel Douglas Luiz. Negotiated by Cruz-Maltino with Manchester City, still in 2017, the now Aston Villa player can, again, change teams and earn money for the Carioca Club, on account of the FIFA Solidarity Mechanismpaid to the athlete’s training team.

According to the newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, the team interested in DG is the Milan, current Italian champion and who lost a titleholder: the Ivorian Franck Kessié, who should be announced by Barcelona. To restore the sector, the Rossoneros are targeting Douglas Luiz, as the first name on the list, Portuguese Renato Sanches, is a difficult target in the market.

At 24 years of age, Douglas Luiz was Aston Villa’s starter for most of the last Premier League campaign, and is one of the most valuable players in the team coached by Steven Gerrard. According to Transfermarkt, the steering wheel is valued at 38 million euros (about R$ 210 million, at the current price). If Vasco earns 1% for Douglas’ transfer, with that amount, the Club would receive R$ 2.1 million, for example.

If he goes to Milan, Douglas Luiz can gain more visibility, since the red-black team will also be in the European Champions League, and the midfielder is fighting for a spot in the Brazilian Team for the World Cup in Qatar.
