According to the website Transfermarkt, former Santos defender Bruno Uvini has made the decision to return to Brazilian football. His contract with FC Tokyo ended in January, and with that, he becomes available for negotiations on the transfer market. Now 30 years old, the defender has not played in national football since 2014, when he defended Santos in 14 matches.

At the beginning of this season, Bruno Uvini was the target of another giant: Grêmio. The Rio Grande do Sul team played in the Brazilian Championship Series B and was looking for a name for its defensive sector. With the next transfer window opening only in July, the player awaits talks from other clubs to settle his new fate for this year. According to Transfermarkt, its market value is around 5 million reais.

Bruno Uvini was revealed by São Paulo and began his career as a professional in 2010. The athlete was captain of the youth teams of the Brazilian national team and one of the references in the team. In 2012, the player was a starter on the team that won the silver medal at the Olympic Games in London. In the final, Canarinho lost to Mexico 2-1 at Wembley.

The athlete has a lot of experience in international football. Before Santos, he played for Tottenham and Napoli. At Peixe, he had little space under the command of Oswaldo de Oliveira and played only 14 games, with two goals scored. He then played for Twente from the Netherlands, Al Nassr and Al Ittihad from Saudi Arabia, and last season he played for FC Tokyo in Japan.

In the current squad, coached by Fabián Bustos, Peixe has defenders Maicon, Emiliano Velázquez, Luiz Felipe, Eduardo Bauermann and the young Kaiky, only 18 years old. With the Argentine coach, the team has been reacting in the table and is in the lead of the Brazilian Championship with seven points won. In the next round, the team visits São Paulo in the first classic in Serie A this year.
