The Red Bull team made headlines in the last few hours, but not because of an action by Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez, but because of what their Formula 2 driver did Juri Vipswho was suspended for making a racist comment while playing a video game on Twitch.

“Red Bull Racing has suspended junior driver Juri Vips from all team roles effective immediately, pending a full investigation into the incident,” Red Bull said on social media.
He added: “As an organization we condemn abuse of any kind and have a zero tolerance policy for racist language or behavior within our organization.”
Following Red Bull’s announcement, Vips wrote on their networks: “I apologize unreservedly for the offensive language used during a live game broadcast earlier today. This language is totally unacceptable and does not portray the values and principles I hold.”
Juri Vips apologized on social networks.
“I deeply regret my actions and this is not the example I want to set. I will cooperate fully with the investigation,” the pilot’s message continued.
