Westerlo and AS Roma reached an agreement on Reynolds for a one-season loan, with a purchase option of seven million euros. The chance that Westerlo will exercise that option is virtually non-existent, but the Italians insisted on including them in the contract. After the physical and medical tests, the transition can be completely completed.
The second American, Griffin Yow, will have to wait a little longer. Westerlo made a final offer for DC United’s 19-year-old left winger. There is no final agreement yet, but the transfer is expected to be completed soon. Yow did not travel with his club for a league game against Chicago Fire last weekend.
