FC Barcelona should prepare a new offer for star striker Robert Lewandowski. Does this move FC Bayern to sell?
Munich / Barcelona – Sadio Mane is here – yet Robert Lewandowski is not gone yet. Although a large striker transfer from the FC Bayern finally reported completion, but there is still little movement in the possible departure of the world footballer. As a transfer expert reports, however, that does not mean that the change has died. No – there will probably be a new offer soon.
The transfer insider Fabrizio Romano reports that the Barcelona FC prepare a new official offer for Lewandowski. In Munich, Lewandowski’s advisor Pini Zahavi, whom Uli Hoeneß described as a “greedy piranha”, is not well received. However, according to Romano, Zahavi and Barca boss Joan Laporta have a “close relationship” that helps them “wait and maintain a valid verbal agreement on personal terms.”
Barcelona’s new offer would have to be 50 million euros, otherwise Bayern had announced that they would not let the goal-getter go. The Catalans failed with their first offer. Most recently, however, a general meeting made it possible for the heavily indebted Barca to invest fresh money in new players. (cg)
