Coming back to Inter, Lukaku is under pressure, can’t miss each other and faces many challenges.
It is never good to return to the land of one’s previous exploits, where one has left excellent memories. However, one would almost believe that Romelu Lukaku has been thinking of a return to Italy since the day he set foot again at Cobham, Chelsea’s training centre.
It was his declaration of love for the Nerazzurri in an interview given to Sky Sport Italia at the end of the calendar year that sparked the beginning of the end with the 2021 European champion. “I am not happy with my situation at Chelsea. I want to apologize to the Inter fans because I think things should have turned out differently. I have always said that I have Inter in my heart , I’ll go back, I really hope so. I’m in love with Italy.”
Six months later, here he is back in Milan, almost unable to achieve better than what he produced in three seasons there during his first stint. With this choice, Romelu finds himself facing many challenges.
