In a short video on Twitter, the 2002 world champion says that he is doing well given the circumstances. “I’m struggling with symptoms of a mild flu,” says Ronaldo. “I will spend the next five days in isolation in my hotel room.”

Ronaldo concludes his message with congratulations for the Seleçao. They will play on Thursday evening at 8 p.m. (10 p.m. local time) in Lusail against Serbia on the first matchday in group G.
