Russian tennis player Andrey Rublev defeated the Greek Stefanos Tsitsipas in the third match of the group stage of the ATP Final Tournament, which takes place in Turin. The Russian reached the semi-finals of the tournament.
The meeting ended with a score of 3:6, 6:3, 6:2 in favor of Rublev.
Earlier this year, Tsitsipas beat Rublev twice (in the quarter-finals of the Masters in Madrid and the semi-finals of the tournament in Astana). In personal meetings, their score was 6-5 in favor of the Greek.
At the tournament in Turin, Rublev defeated compatriot Daniil Medvedev and lost to Serb Novak Djokovic. In the semi-finals, the Russian will face the Norwegian Kasper Ruud. Djokovic will play American Taylor Fritz.

Rublev has been playing in the ATP Finals for the third year in a row, for the first time he was able to reach the semi-finals.
25-year-old Rublev is ranked seventh in the world rankings. The Russian has 12 ATP titles. At the Tokyo Olympics, he became the Olympic champion in the mixed doubles.
The final tournament will end on November 20. The prize fund of the competition is $14.75 million.
