Russian tennis players Veronika Kudermetova and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova reached the final of the WTA tournament in Rome in doubles. In the semi-finals, they were stronger than the American Desira Krawczyk and the Dutch Demi Schurs — 1:6, 7:6 (8:6), 10:7.

The match lasted 1 hour 44 minutes. The Russians filed for relegation once, did not make a single double fault and converted four break points out of 11. Their rivals did not perform a single ace, made four double faults and converted six break points out of 11.

In the final of the tournament, the Russians will play with the winners of the match Lucy Gradecka (Czech Republic) / Sanya Mirza (India) – Gabriela Dabrowski (Canada) / Juliana Olmos (Mexico).

In the first round of the tournament, the Russians were stronger than the Americans Corey Gauff and Jessica Pegula (5:7, 6:2, 11:9).
