Russian tennis players Veronika Kudermetova and Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova reached the final of the WTA tournament in Rome in doubles. In the semi-finals, they were stronger than the American Desira Krawczyk and the Dutch Demi Schurs — 1:6, 7:6 (8:6), 10:7.
The match lasted 1 hour 44 minutes. The Russians filed for relegation once, did not make a single double fault and converted four break points out of 11. Their rivals did not perform a single ace, made four double faults and converted six break points out of 11.
