The return of the historic Brazilian player had taken place in November 2021, but Xavi informed him that he was not going to be taken into account for the 2022/2023 season and said goodbye via Instagram with a video and some heartfelt words for the culé fans.

His second stage was very different from the first. At that time, he stayed with the club from the 2008/2009 season to 2015/2016 and raised 23 titles: 6 Spanish Leagues, 4 Copa del Rey, 4 Spanish Super Cups, 3 Champions League, 3 Club World Cups, 3 European Super Cups. In his recent experience, he was unable to lift any trophies and played just 17 games. Altogether, they were 408 encounters with the blaugrana shirt and it becomes a true emblem of the institution.

Despite his 39 years, Dani Alves dreams of playing his third World Cup -was present in 2010 and 2014- and conquer the last title at the National Team level that is missing. Although she has been a fixture for Tité -in fact she played as a starter against Japan and South Korea in the last tour of Asia-, she is clear that she will have to find a club quickly to arrive with shooting. Her intentions would be to remain in European football, but the idea of her returning to play for a club in Brazil should not be ruled out.
