SKA announced the departure of five foreign players

The St. Petersburg club of the KHL, by mutual agreement, terminated the contracts with the Finns Leo Komarov and Mikko Lehtonen. Agreements have also ended with Swede Lars Johansson, Finn Joonas Kemppainen and Cadets Matt Robinson.

SKA, by mutual agreement, terminated the agreements with the Finnish legionnaires Leo Komarov and Mikko Lehtonen. About it reported on the website of the St. Petersburg KHL club.

Both hockey players joined the SKA squad during the current season. 35-year-old Komarov scored six points in 18 games of the regular season, three more points to his account in 16 playoff games. 28-year-old Lehtonen played 15 games for SKA in the regular season and scored eight points, he added seven more points in 15 playoff games.

Swedish goalkeeper Lars Johansson, Finnish striker Joonas Kemppainen and Canadian defender Matt Robinson also ended their contracts.

Robinson had previously announced his retirement.

SKA reached the semi-finals of the playoffs this season, where they lost in seven matches to the future champion CSKA.
