Hockey players of St. Petersburg SKA beat CSKA 6:2 in the home match of the regular season Fonbet – KHL.

Among the winners, goals were scored by Mikhail Vorobyov (1st minute), Nikita Gusev (3), Zakhar Bardakov (8), Damir Zhafyarov (14, 24) and Dmitry Yashkin (49). The losers scored Pavel Karnaukhov (27) and Vladislav Kamenev (29).

Before this meeting, SKA had five defeats in the last six matches. CSKA’s winning streak was four games.

The Petersburg club beat CSKA for the second time this season. In the first meeting on October 3, they won away in overtime (3:2). After that game, SKA head coach Boris Rotenburg was fined by the KHL for a “victory gesture.”

SKA sits at the top of the Western Conference standings with 56 points from 34 games. CSKA is in second place with 47 points in 32 games.

In the next match, SKA will host Lokomotiv on November 24, while CSKA will play away against Torpedo on the same day.
