No decisions have been made regarding the Spartak budget for the coming season. This was stated to journalists by the head of the press service of the “red-white” Dmitry Zelenov.
“No decisions regarding the budget have been made and could not be made.
What the authors of the news said are assumptions, not facts,” Zelanov said.
CSKA denied reports of a significant reduction in the club’s budget
Formerly “Sport-Express” informedthat the budget of Spartak for 2023, which will be adopted in the fall, is likely to be about 8 billion rubles. The reduction compared to the current budget is planned in the region of 30%.
It was noted that by 2024 the updated budget will be reduced by another half and will amount to about 4 billion rubles. Thus, the total reduction in club funding over two years could be more than 50%.
Leonid Fedun has been the owner of Spartak since 2004. On April 26, he stated that “until the last he will do everything possible to keep the club alive.”
