Striking support for Red Devil Wout Faes from English football icon: "Of course he has to play"

Guy Van Den Langenbergh,

Lineker was asked the question via Twitter. “Does Belgium need this man on the pitch?” one Matt Sibson, a notorious fan of Leicester, asks Gary Lineker. The answer was not long in coming. “Absolutely”, of course, responded the host of the famous BBC program ‘Match of the Day’. Small detail: Lineker himself is also a fan of Leicester.

Faes has been playing football for Leicester City since September. De Kempenaar received his education at Anderlecht, which loaned him to the Dutch clubs Heerenveen and Excelsior. In his own country he then broke through at Ostend. The French Reims then took over the central defender. Successfully! Faes got into the broad squad of the Red Devils and decorated a transfer to the Premier League at the beginning of September. At Leicester he found Youri Tielemans, Dennis Praet and Timothy Castagne, among others. Faes quickly worked his way up to a regular starter and has already won the hearts of the English football public through his energetic style of play and eye-catching haircut.
