Thanks to the victory against Union, Club Brugge is one victory away from the title. After all, Blauw-Zwart now has a three-point lead over the inhabitants of Brussels, but has the advantage with equal points because Union saw its points rounded up when the points were halved at the start of the play-offs. These are the scenarios in which Club Brugge becomes champion.
1. If it wins at least one of its last two matches, visiting Antwerp or at home against Anderlecht. That means that blue-black can already be champion on Sunday if it takes the three points at the Bosuil, or if it does at least as well as Union visiting Anderlecht.
2. If it takes at least one more point in its last two matches, provided that Union does not win both its last two matches visiting Anderlecht and at home against Antwerp.
3. If Union cannot win both of its last two matches.(wic)
