Model vented about the importance of awareness and combating prejudice
The model Andressa Ferreira made an outburst and opened her heart about the attacks and criticism that she usually receives on social media because of her marriage to the councilor for São Paulo Tammy Miranda. In an interview for the magazine Contigo!, Andressa spoke about the importance of raising awareness and combating prejudice.
“I think prejudice in all its forms shows the dark side of each of us! We are what we feed, if it feeds my good side, it will command my life, if it feeds my bad side, it will command my attitudes!”, she said. Thammy and Andressa have been together for eight years, married for four and are parents to a 2-year-old son Bento.
Prejudice is a recurring theme in the model’s life. Thammy is a trans man and their relationship ends up causing confusion for many netizens. Therefore, the young woman ends up being the target of criticism on the networks. “Prejudice is a testament to ignorance, limited minds and souls, for God what matters are our hearts, we are just passing through!”, emphasized the young woman.
Tammy’s wife revealed, even during the interview, that the two are planning to increase their family. She said that the couple’s desire is to have a girl and that the name has already been chosen: “We really want to have Manuella soon! She’s ready. We have frozen embryos, sometimes we really want them, sometimes we give up! Only God knows when it will come,” she said.
