The bus with the players of the Bulgarian national team got into a traffic accident in Tbilisi on the eve of the League of Nations match. About it informs press service of the Bulgarian Football Union (BFS).
The accident happened on the team’s way to the hotel. The driver of one of the two buses carrying the players lost control, resulting in a “serious accident,” the union said. No other details of what happened were given.

As a result of an accident, one person was injured – midfielder Todor Nedelev, representing the Botev club from Plovdiv. Now the player is undergoing a thorough examination. “All other members of the team and staff of the Bulgarian national team are fine,” the statement said.
The Georgia-Bulgaria match is scheduled to take place on June 12. Both teams are in the fourth group of League C along with North Macedonia and Gibraltar. Georgians are in first place with 9 points. Below are North Macedonia (4 points), Bulgaria (2 points) and Gibraltar (1 point).
