The Covid is forgotten for holidaymakers: 9 out of 10 Belgians have already booked!

The latest Touring holiday barometer shows that the Covid no longer worries Belgians.

After two summers disrupted – or ruined for some – by the Covid-19, tourism has resumed beautiful colors in recent months. And while summer vacation will begin in a few weeks, many people already have their plan in mind, and on paper. The latest holiday touring barometer shows in particular that 9 out of 10 Belgians have already booked their stay(s) for the summer of 2022. “The coronavirus no longer seems to be holding us back from going on vacation. Nine out of ten Belgians will go on holiday this year. And this, in Belgium and abroad. Our old holiday habits are also back after two yearswe learn in this report. Beach and swimming pool holidays remain the favorite holidays of Belgians. This influences our booking behavior. We book our hotel, holiday home, B&B or campsite faster than in other years. Barely 11% of Belgians have not yet booked their next trip. By way of comparison, before the coronavirus crisis, almost a quarter of Belgians (23%) waited even longer to book.
