The Xepelin Cupthe tournament that brings together the Chilean startups on the University Sports City of the San Sebastian Universitycame to an end this week with the 24 mixed teams, in six cups, in a foosball model that had as main objective to promote the development of good practices in the industry, promote sports culture and generate community.

But the big winner of the night to keep the maximum trophy, the diamond cupwas one that already did it in 2021. It is Betterfly, who beat Mach 8 to 3, to lift the trophy again.

“It was difficult to retain the title, but we have an excellent team and we succeeded. We are very happy with this result, but beyond football, We highly value the spirit of camaraderie generated by this type of activity”, commented Sebastián Puga, captain of Betterfly.

But not only the benefits platform emerged triumphant from the Xepelin Cup. The homeowners, Universidad San Sebastián, beat Wild Brandsraising the gold Cup.

“It was an excellent tournament, all the teams were very competitive, but respect always prevailed. It is a very good initiative to create spaces for mixed leagues, I hope competitions of this type continue to exist”, “declared the student captain, Florencia Mahn.

Others who joined the festivities were Houm Chile, owners of the Silver Cup by beating Rappi Chile; the Copper Cup left in the hands of Wareclouds, which outperformed Cornershop; Toteat raised the Copper Cup after beating Tenpo on the scoreboard; Y Soy Focus was awarded the Friendship Cupthanks to the victory against Examedi.

in which we were able to receive companies such as Betterfly, Amazon, NotCo and Xepelin, among other large startups that are taking on a relevant role at a national and international level. We will continue to support inclusive instances like this, in which men and women are on equal terms and complement each other through sport”, commented Pedro Covarrubias, commercial director of the Ciudad Deportiva de la Universidad San Sebastián.
