Natalie Portman is back in the Marvel Cinematic Universe where she reprises the role of Jane Foster/Mighty Thor. The director of the film, Taika Waititi, gave details about the role of the Oscar winner. He reviews the details below.
Thor: Love and Thunder is getting closer to reaching the big screen with his new installment which has already announced a return that keeps fans of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Jane Fostercharacter of Natalie Portman is one of the protagonists of the new film. The last time the Oscar winner played the role was in Thor: The Dark World of 2013.
The ex-girlfriend of the God of Thunder will have a different role in this installment, since she will not only be a scientist who works behind the scenes to save the world. This time, Jane will be on the battlefield, fighting side by side with Chris Hemsworth’s character.
On what Portman’s return to the MCU will look like, the director of the production, Taika Waititi, provided some hints of what fans will be able to enjoy on screen.

About the reunion of the former couple, Waititi He commented to Empire that it will be quite shocking for the God of Thunder. “The love of your life is back on the scene and now he’s dressed like you. It’s really crazy for Thor.”
He also revealed that the idea of bringing Jane back into the Thor saga was born after the release of Jason Aaron’s 2015 comic book titled The Mighty Thor which focuses on the character of Portman.
“I was writing and it was like, ‘Wouldn’t it be great to bring Jane back into the story?'” express.
Waitiki further notes: “You know, while Thor is flying, she stays on Earth, stamping her foot and saying, ‘When is he coming back?’ That’s boring. You want her to be part of the adventure.”he added.
In the trailer for the tape, he reveals what happened to the avenger after the events of Avengers: Endgame. Where Thor left the kingdom of Asgards, leaving it in the hands of Valkyrie (Tessa Thompson), and goes to visit the world. During this trip he decides to go see his friend Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) and joins him on his journey around the galaxy, however, all his plans change when he meets again with Jane, who is now also a warrior
