Video and summary: Boca's historic defeat against Central Córdoba for the Professional League

Historical triumph of the ‘Railway’ after 55 long years. Boca fell to Central Córdoba in Santiago del Estéreo this Sunday June 12 for the date 2 of the Argentine Professional League (LFP). The locals won by the minimum difference, which could even have been more if it weren’t for Rossi who saved a penalty. The hero of the day was González Metilli, author of the only goal.

About 10 minutes into the second half, and after an error at Izquierdoz’s exit, the 25-year-old midfielder culminated in an action that he himself manufactured for what would be the only goal of the match.

Minutes later, Agustín Rossi avoided what could have been 2-0, after saving a penalty from López, and although Central managed to score on the rebound, the VAR warned of an invasion of the area and canceled the goal.
